about

The dialogue at the beginning of this track is Ryan talking about a wooden idol that was found and destroyed after being blamed for a long string of bad luck on the South Side.

Later in the song you can hear the grinding breaks of a city bus. This happened during the actual recording of the song (3:13) and is believed to be the only occasion where a St. Louis city bus ran "on time."
